My name is Amy Tyrrell and I am currently studying a Fine Art BA (Hons) degree in London. 

 

My work ranges in media from photography to sculpture. I address formal elements such as colour and texture to be at the main focal point of my work, often referring to art movements such as abstract expressionism and pop art. I would describe my approach to be very experimental yet still maintaining a level of control. Through careful decision making, I am investigating the relationship that we have with materials as well as how materiality of materials has an effect on my practice.
